George Wells Johnston/e

I'm looking for any information related to George Wells Johnston/e born 1863 in Dumfries Scotland. Married Jean Caven. They had 2 children while living in Scotland. William Caven Johnston/e (b.1889)and another son (name unknown) who drowned. The family left Scotland by 1896 and moved to Liverpool England where they had other children.

I'm finding a lot of info about Johnston/e in Dumfries but no info on George Wells Johnton/e. Any help would be wonderful
