They  more than  likely  returned  home  on a  troop ship. I  have seen  that a  bit.  Come round  the cape usually  I  don't  think  the Suez was open  but  then  not a historian  so  could indeed be wrong.

I  am  in  touch  with  their  Grandaughter,  who was  born  in  Dadenong,  and,  she  did'nt  even  know  that.  I  sent  her  Grandad's  Enlisment  Papers to  her  and,  she  was  over  the  moon.  Had  another e-mal  from  her  just  now  asking  me  how  I  did  it.  I  explained  about  the   help  from  Roots  Chat.

James  and  Janet  had   6  kids  that  I  now  of.,  Robert  Dickson,  1920,  James,  1922,  marrled,  Merle  Brockford.  Ruby,  1925,  married,  Albert  Bonnerman,  William,  1927,  married, Constance  O'Dell,  Marion,  1930,  married  Raymond  Eades,  and,  Neil,  married  to  a  Sue    Can  you   tell  me   when  any of  them  died?
