There are a few Misell burials on Manchester Online Burials but no Hyman or Harriet.  There is a Stanley who was buried in April 1932 in Southern.  He might be worth investigating further.  According the FreeBMD, there was a Stanley Misell death registered 2nd qtr 1932 and he was 34 years old so could be Hyman and Harriet's son.

yes  stanley was hyman and harriets son- just looked up his military records- 21 pages- seems he was discharged from the army feb 1917- think it reads as gunshot wound to the right arm which later became infected
thank you all for your replies- would like to know how you found the info on the workhouse

                              kind regards christine

Sorry Christine I failed to find Hyman, Harriet and Stanley together on 1901c,
a possible marriage for Stanley the only way to confirm would be to purchase the certificate to see his father's is named Hyman

Sep qtr. 1922 Chorlton
Stanley Misell spouses surname Dewey

There are three Misell births 1923 - 1926 with mother’s maiden name Dewey
as they may still be living you can view details on FreeBMD

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

Good luck with the search  :)

Yes they all seem to be missing in 1901  ???.  Could be a mistranscription but I've tried quite a few variations.

Their names must be really badly mis transcribed I've tried every combination I can think of  ??? Are there any missing censuses pages 1901 Manchester? Perhaps they are using a different name altogether  ???

This appears to be his christening (familysearch.org) - residence 1898 Manchester Lancashire
perhaps finding their address 1898 may help locate them in 1901
