Brooks James 1760/1809 Born in Bath musician

I am trying to discover more information on James Brooks.He married Ann (nee Whale) The children I have are Caroline Anne Brooks, Ann Brooks  James Brooks  Henry William Brooks and Christiana Henrietta Brooks my direct line.  I know Christiana married George Price a barrister and she has a headstone in Dean Parish Church Edinborough.
Should anyone else be working on these people help would be wonderful

Search engines such as google can pick up the new topics here quite quickly so anyone using it just on the off-chance should be directed to your topic.

Also make sure you put an entry in the Surname Interests Table by clicking on the tab at the top of the screen. Have a look for other matches while you're there.

James Brooks was born in Bath in 1760, the son of the violinist John Brooks, and was playing with his father in Linley’s band at the New Assembly Rooms at the age of eleven. He is known to have played a violin concerto in Bath on 23 April 1783, though he moved to London soon after, and played in the orchestra for the 1784 Handel Commemoration in Westminster Abbey. He returned to Somerset at some point, for he is mentioned in Bristol concert announcements in the 1790s. In 1800 he became leader of the band at Vauxhall Gardens, and subsequently published some Vauxhall songs; he died in London in December 1809.
