A ww2 record of a REGINALD JOHN KING whose next of kin is AMY and was born in Tasmania, though he enlisted in NSW.

Different family... this is his birth:

David KING & Amy PETERS married 08/03/1891 at the Hobart Congregational Church by Rev. John Wilkes Simmons.

I'm researching the King family for a dear friend with dementia. She is 82
years of age and her father was known as Ernest Edward King when he married
her mother Juliet Grace McNabb on 30th June 1925 in Ascot Vale, Victoria.
On the marriage certificate he states his parents as David King & Amy
Peters and that he was born in Hobart. He gives his age as 26 years making
him born circa 1899. Having since found your message on the internet, I
feel that this is your grandfather also. The discrepency of age and middle
name would have been made as his divorce from Lily Harrigan wasn't
finalised until December 1926.

His death certificate has the same information however that was possibly sourced from the 1925 marriage cert.
