I think you have made a wrong connection:
If you look at the will of Robert Meggison (died 1840 - you have your Robert's death 1792) at the web site link in my earlier post (it's free access and you are able to view images of the will) you will see that the beneficiaries are the sons and daughters of Ralph Meggison of Houghton Le Spring- giving their names and in the case of married girls - their husbands names; and the will of Ralph Meggison, butcher of Houghton Le Spring Will 1839 at the same site will confirm. Ralph Meggeson, butcher of Houghton Le Spring married Jane Bus(h)by on 31 Aug 1784 (Jane died between him writing the will in 1833 and adding a codicil in 1836)
Ralph & Jane's children:
Ann - bap 27 Dec 1787 -marr 26 May 1812 at Houghton to Thomas Wilson, butcher
Jane - bap 10 Apr 1792 - marr 30 Jan 1816 at Houghton to Thomas Bellerby, farmer
Dorothy - bap 27 Feb 1803 - marr 1 JUn 1824 at Houghton to George Watson
Ralph - bap 28 Apr 1786 - died 1850
Lively - bap 5 Apr 1790 - buried 19 Apr 1791
William - bap 4 Jan 1797
Mary - bap 6 Oct 1799 - marr 22 May 1821 at Houghtonto Isaac Moses
Hannah - bap 6 Apr 1795 - marr 27 Nov 1821 at Houghton to Anthony Anderson
there was also a Jane, bap 28 Apr 1786 but have been unable to find her death/burial (in view of their subsequent bapt of a Jane in 1792)
I don't think either is a match for your Sedgfield Ralph & Robert .
Ralph & Robert (of the wills) are sons of William Meggeson and Jane Harrison who married 12 May 1745 at Brancepeth (where their children were baptised).
=====================
It's not unheard of, but rare for a man quite recently widowed (Hannah burial 7 May 1773) to be remarried so soon - 26 June 1773;
However, a bit of brighter info for you.
