The 1751 Dublin Directory has Charles Nobileau, merchant, at Fleet Street

diolchiadau Hanes Teulu.

Internet searches have provided lots of information and even family trees for the Huguenots from Saumur who went to Dublin, so provided that I can make the direct link from my Mary to that Nobileau family, I will have a whole very interesting story for her.

My next step will be to look up the Dublin Huguenot registers, either on film, or more likely I will now need to get the CD from the Huguenot society to do this, and see whether she does indeed fit into the generations who arrived after they reached the City of Dublin.

Here's hoping that I have just gone from someone with no obvious family in the records, to someone whose family history is well-documented, back for several generations.  Keeping my fingers crossed :-)
