Foleshill parish records
« on: Monday 07 November 11 16:52 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone go to Warwickshire Records Office who could look up the following for me.
Among my ancestors I have
Stephen Wilson (1723-1755) married to Mary Fullalove/Fullelove
When married they lived in Coventry.
Mary's will mentions land in Foleshill and it is likely they lived there as Stephen was in the silk trade and I see that was a local craft. I am therefore wondering
1 Did they marry there? 1st child I am aware of was born 1751 but I don't know where christened - so marriage likely to be around then.
2 Was Mary christened there? Mary's parents were John and Elizabeth Fullalove and came from the Coventry area so perhaps from Foleshill. Mary lived till 1786, so I would guess born 1720s.
It would be wonderful if anyone could help. I live in Dorset and can not easily get to Warickshire.
Ann

I have a lot of information about Mary's Fullilove family commencing c1525. She was born 1728-31 but there is no baptism records as her parents, John & Elizabeth Awsen were non-conformist. I have transcript of John's will
