Yes, that could well be John Brown, the age is certainly about right. Golly, James & Martha didn't hang about, did they.

If it is John from the 1841 then he isn't a sibling of my Henry as Henry's parents were John & Mary but I'm sure he will be connected some where in amongst the Swyncombe Brown's.
