Hi there MS,

Are you trying to find the connection between this Catherine Kempson and the Thomas Kempson who married Charlotte Stokes in June 1802 ?

May I please ask for your source confirming that  Elizabeth Boultbee was this Catherine’s mother?

May I also please ask for you to reply to my post on your Stokes thread as I have summarised a great deal of information there. I included the avatar names for two RChatters who could well be related to Thomas and Charlotte (nee Stokes) KEMPSON.  And I included lots of threads re your particular KEMPSON line in Aust and NZ.

Simply put, I am not sure if you have validated any of that material as yet.  I am concerned that you are searching back into earlier generations where there is less and less written documentation, before first checking and validating or eliminating the more recent information.

Hi
To help with this question.
Catherine's brother  was christened a year later at the same church as Catherine- Thomas Kempson had a daughter Charlotte named after her mother Charlotte Stokes. Charlotte jnr received a painting of her grand mother Elizabeth (nee Boultbee) Kempson which she willed back to the Boultbee family on her death around 1898. This is detailed in the Boutbee family website. In addition to William marrying Elisabeth , both William's brother John and his sister Mary also married Boultbees.
I also at this stage have no further details of Catherine Kempson.
