« on: Friday 04 November 11 01:28 GMT (UK) »
I have them in 1910 and 1930 living in Potter County, South Dakota, but am having no luck finding the family in 1920.

Can you lend a fresh pair of eyes?

Looking for:

Karl Ferndinand Weber (father) born Weinberg, Austria 1867

and any of their children:

Karl Fred,    born 1908
Josephine,  born 1909
Bruno F.,     born 1911
Otto C.,       born 1913
Frank E.,     born 1915
Mathilde S., born 1919
Erika I.,       born 1923
Herbert W., born 1926

Many thanks!

I haven't been able to find them either on the 1920 census.  Have you seen the South Dakota state censuses on www.familysearch.com? They are listed individually in 1925 and you can probably find them in the other censuses as well--1905, 1915, 1935.  On the Potter Co., usgenweb website, a biography states that some of the family moved to Montana in the late 1930s.  A quick check of Montana marriages at www.familyseach.org showed the marriage of Mathilda Sophia Weber in Great Falls, Cascade, MT and the marriage of Fred Karl Weber in Three Forks, Gallatin, MT.
