Leicestershire Memorial inscriptions?

Does anyone one know if there were ever any books etc with grave stone inscriptions for Leicestershire? I am specifically interested in Whitwick, Swannington, Coleorton, Thringstone and Hinckley.

Greeting’s Again…..Mark.

I understand that several Villages through out the County
Had a Graveyard Survey done by their Village Ladies  W.I.
Details of deceased and the plot position
As part of “ The Millennium Project 1999. ~ 2000.”
And deposited with the “ Parish Clark “

Best make contact with the Parish Clark of the Villages to ask them if they participated. ?

I take it there is nothing you know of done in the 19th Century, while some older inscriptions would have still been readable or standing?

For those finding this thread in the future.

Whitwick Parish Council only came into existance in 2011 with the first election in May 2011. They have no historical records at all.

The clerk directed me to try Whitwick Historical Group for information

The Leicestershire Records Office also has some records of memorial inscriptions so they might be worth a try.
