Possible marriage : Qtr Dec 1871 Oswestry (6a/1424)

Thomas Woodin (the 'g' is missing)
Martha Pugh (one of the 2 on this page)

You would need to order the Marriage Certificate to be certain.

There are some Wooding's to be found on the IGI Adfa Calvinistic Chapel Llanwyddelan
Montgomreyshire.
Might be worth checking it out.

Best match for Thomas  in earlier censuses ( but not 100% sure) ~

In 1871 is in Carreghofa (Llanfyllin RD)  RG10/5629/43/1

In 1861 in Alberbury (Atcham RD) RG09/1865/7/7

Death cert ref, in case you want to purchase - Dec q, 1890, Llanfyllin, 11b 143 Aged 48


Thomas not noted as deceased on Richard and Mary Ann's marriage cert of 1895!

The only birth reg that might fit with Thomas  is this one - but proceed with caution - not all births were registered at this early stage

(Montgomery RD did include Pool and Forden (inc Welshpool) at that time

This IGI entry might fit if the above correct:

Baptism, Welshpool 3 Dec 1842 Thomas s/o William Wooding and Sarah

I notice that he had a son William

The parish record for this baptism has them living in Pool and William  is down as a hairdresser

There seem to be only two death registrations for a  Richard Wooding of his approx D of B:

Richard L Wooding Dec q, 1931, Liverpool  8b 171 Aged 59

Richard T Wooding June q, 1962, Hawarden 8a 488 Aged 90

As his birth was registered as Richard Thomas Woodin (Mar q, 1872, Llanfyllin 11b 241), I think the Hawarden one looks like your Richard -
