Could anyone tell me if the Kelso Chronicle newspaper was published in 1849 please?.
I am searching for a death account and/or funeral information and/or obituary for William Davidson whose death is recorded on an Mi at Lilliesleaf 24.10.1849.
If the paper was in existence in 1849 can it be read on line or where can it be searched-Hawick or Edinburgh?
If the paper did not exist for 1849 would the information have been recorded in another newspaper.
