Hi All
I have now hit a brick wall on info on my great great grandfather i know he married a Ann Thomas and who their children were they lived at TYN-Y-LLAN in HIRNANT.  Edward was born 1795 and died 1859 (suicide)  I have been to the church in HIRNANT and seen many of my ancestors burried there but no sign of Edward or Ann HUGHES   I now want to move on and find his parents and brothers and sisters if he had any If anyone has any information on the HUGHES family from this area please contact me.
                         ROY HUGHES

Hi there,
Edward's wife is a relation of mine. I believe she died in Feb 1871. She was then living at Pontrobert Hirnant. She was buried at Hirnant 4 Feb. Edward was buried 22 Jan 1859 at Hirnant. They were married 26 Aug 1814 at Hirnant. The PR shows that Edward came from Pennant i.e. part of Penybont/Llanrhaeadr YM. You really need to get a copy of  marriage certificate to ascertain Edward's arents names.
Happy to help if you need any further info, Cheers :) Merle
