There is a marriage in 1916 for a William Robert James Sabiston and Leonie Phearl Sanguin.

Lawrence is a relative I have recorded however I am missing his birth date....

William James Sabiston couldn't be the one I am looking for as my William James died 15 Nov 1979. It however could be another William James I am looking for which I will look into.

Was William's sister named Catherine and married to a Shorting? If so it appears that Lawrence and William James Sabiston have huge skeletons in their closets. Do you have information regarding this?

No he never had a sister Catherine..... he was the son of James William Sabiston and Mary McDonald.

The Lawrence that is mentioned is the son of Thomas Victor Sabiston and Lena Wosny. I have no information on a William with a sister Catherine who married a Shorting.....

I will post the information I have on the other William James Sabiston I am looking for on a new thread in a few minutes.

I've found an obituary for William James Sabiston who died 15 Nov 1979 in the Winnipeg Free Press and there is no mention of a wife or children. It indicated he was survived by a brother and two sisters. The names of the surviving brother and sisters matches up with the children listed in James William Sabiston's 1958 obituary.

I wonder if you could send me the obituary as I have found out that he may have just been living with a woman named May Fidler and that he may not have been married. If that is the case I guess this has hit a brick wall.....
