If jacquie's find turns out to be your family, there is more information here...found with the information for Agnes Foster...goes back further for you, so hope it is yours...They have not followed through with marriages, so you have to dig to do to prove they are yours...

Robert's parents, according to this site came to Prince Edward County, where they had their last daughter, 1874 so I imagine deaths were in Ontario
also that Rob't sr. purchased land 1814 / Concession V lots 4 & 5, 100 acres Thurlow Township.
This site has: Robert Thompson and Jane Kilpatrick - came to Canada in 1807 with 8 children born in Ireland.

I imagine the Elmira, Almina names used don't help the search, and Thomas Edward McKim, sometimes uses Edward as well...  (ie: birth of "Alminy " Kckim in 1869 to Edward Mckim,​ Alminy Thompson )
