It is now the 7th February 2012 and I can not find any sight of the records on line  yet-  mind you there is still half an hour left of the 7th. Fingers and toes crossed that tomorrow will  be sunny.

It does now appear on line under Hutt City Council Cemeteries

However does not appear to be complete as while I have found my parents, there is no mention of my still born siblings born in 1949 and 1950 and buried at this cemetery.. These are on the NZSG V5 Index so were transcribed by NZSG members some years ago,

Happy Hunting

Hey there,

Have you heard any further updates on the issue? I understand there has been some frustration both within this community and the local community itself as to how long this has taken, as well as the Council seemingly avoiding to answer any ones questions adequetly - particularly in relation to a final date of completion.

I am currently completing a Journalism course this year and as part of the work have been assigned Taita as my area to cover - as such, I was hoping someone would be able to provide me with a bit more background/context to the issue if at all possible.

It would be much appreciated if anyone could  :D
