Hi

How have you proved that a London/Middlesex baptism

e.g.

9th March 1785 St Mary Whitechapel Middlesex
Richard Hutchinson parents William and Ann, of White's Row
or other possible baptisms for Richard Hutchinsons in adjacent areas to Whitechapel in January 1776 or July 1777 - the first given is the only one in March though.

is connected to the 1812 marriage (unspecified place some 34 years later) and baptisms in Bamburgh Northumberland?

The distance between Whitechapel and Bamburgh is over 300 miles.

Doesn't help much, but the couple can be seen in North Sunderland Township on the 1841 census (surname mistranscribed), just the two of them.

Hi

So aged 72 on the 1851 census which if accurate would give a birth year of circa 1777/1778 in the London area.

A possible death registration which would give his age again on his death to check for accuracy - the 1841 census usually rounds down adult ages to the nearest 5.

Deaths Jun 1858
Hutchinson    Richard         Belford    10b   179

A possible baptism in Middlesex but no real way of proving it is the correct one unfortunately. You might expect with a father who was a silversmith this Richard would have followed his father into the same trade and not become an ag lab in far away Northumberland.

RICHARD HUTCHINSON
15 June 1777
13 July 1777 Saint Luke Old Street, Finsbury Middlesex
Father: JONAS HUTCHINSON (silversmith)
Mother: PHILLIS

The further away from a place the more the tendency is on censuses to give the nearest large place as a birthplace.

This is the link - you can plug the Book, Piece, Folio and Page numbers into your census search program.

no, not a URL type link - but a link (if you will) detailing the Census Reference info, which you can use to find them.

Pointless me giving an actual URL link if you dont have the same census provider as I used, and also your provider may not have the same mis-spelling as mine.
