hi am trying to trace my family tree. I have names of whatmough who lived in heywood in lancashire.  I also have westwoods married into the whatmough family in 1897 and wonder if there is anyone who can give me further information.  I have been trying to find out about a Robert Whatmough who emigrated to Moosejaw in Canada in 1932 he became lord mayor out there we believe. any one please pass on information and help

The Moosejaw Library may be able to provide you with some information about Robert Whatmough being a Mayor. As far as I'm aware the title Lord Mayor only exists in British and Irish cities. http://tiny.cc/VGDXU
