Thanks everyone for your very helpful replies with  good progress on  Annie G Milner and I'm content that Harry Wragg and Charles H Wragg are the same person - such a birth is recorded in Free BMD.

George Wragg's parents are unclear - a choice of two, with both GWs born about the same time and I think the only way forward is, as suggested,  to purchase a marriage certificate showing the father's name.

With your help I'm now much wiser than 24 hours ago :)

Hi again,

The reason I posted the returns was because in 1901, living with his widowed mother Harriet - is who I believe to be the other unmarried George Wragg, born in Sheffield :

RG13/4364, Folio 109, Page 1.
