I am trying to identify any details of a George Evans who i believe was married to Ann, They lived in Branson street Salford, and it my understanding that in 1917 they "looked" after my Grandmother (Esther Murgatroyd).I assume its due to her mother pasing away around child birth, any info would Be appreciated

There is one marriage that could be them, but on the 1901 census the Annie Nixon is in West Derby area but  comes from Woolton, which isn't Liverpool.

JAS 1901 West Derby  George Evans - Annie Nixon.

but saying that in 1901 the only available unmarried Geroge Evans from Bootle is in Nottingham.

Problem being they have no children to cross reference them by, so theres no way of being certain
