Are you sure about Lewis Collins? I know it's not always 100% but Wikipedia still seems to think he's alive and in a film about to be released.

According to this article from the Daily Mail back in March, he was still alive.....well his agent said he was available for acting work, so I assume......!  ;)

You're absolutely right.   So sorry.    I was mixing him up with Gareth Hunt of New Avengers fame, who died in 2007.   They do look slightly similar in their publicity photos, I think,  hence the mental confusion this end.

Just been watching this episode of FindMyPast 'Battle of Briton' which was nice to hear the pilots of the time talking about their memories in WW2!  :D  but as far as the other FindMyPast input between adverts and recaps  >:( - puts one in the mood for going to bed- Yawn!

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Yes, I also enjoyed the story of the Battle of Britain.  But I'm afraid ol' "Gattlin' gun" Hollins was at it again with his narration.

I was interested to see that it was Nick this week reading the historical material rather than the people.  It's almost as if the show's producers were psychic and picked up previous comments from this thread last week!   :D

Oh those recaps - previous comments still apply!

With respect to the last Few! and November 11th - I think BBC should have produced this program presented by Sir Bob Geldoff maybe!

No one likes Monday mornings after that Weekend! so maybe the theme song! by the Rats :D for the program.

Well we are all getting Ratty over this issue  ;D
