Derbyshire has a load of Parish Records and websites for towns. I recommend a look at all of the relevant ones to your family.
Nottinghamshire is in close proximity to Long Eaton and Sawley, so looking on websites for towns such as Beeston and Hucknall may be beneficial also.

http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/Search.pl - Parish records (if you can't find any, type in the name of desired church and then 'interments', occassionally you will find a list, failing that email the cemetery or call and they normally search six records for free then an additional £35.00 per hour)
http://www.findagrave.com - good for searching for burials
http://www.freebmd.org.uk - take Shardlow births into account as the parish of Sawley was in the union of Shardlow.
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/DBY/Sawley/Burials1813-1830.html - list of Sawley Church (All Saints) burials, no 'Beers' but you may find some relations

Ref a previous post of mine in this thread, I have another BEER link to my family.  My 4GGrandfather John TRACE was a tailor and the town cryer in Sawley in the late 18th early 19th century. From the Sawley Parish Overseers Accounts 8 Dec 1776, John TRACE was paid 3 shillings "for making a Cot and Wasket for R.Bear". A bit later, 23 Oct 1779, he was paid 6d "for mending Bores (sic) Close"

I also have access to full census records, transcripts and images so if you'd like any from 1841 - 1911 please let me know!
The church in Sawley is called All Saints Church, I think that's what you may have meant in a previous comment you put up. It's sometimes written as 'All Saints Church, Sawley, Ilkeston, Derbyshire'.
