The earliest information dates from 1882 when the daughter Lucy Lane is married to John Thomas and they are living at Fownhope in Herefordshire.
We know they come from the same area of crasswall/ abbeydore.
John Thomas lists a david prosser as his father, so we think either david married his mother or perhaps he was orphaned or something.
