Sarah was born in July 1874 in Newcastle,Bridgend her fathers name was Richard Heal(Hill?)mothers name Martha.
She married John James Blackmore 1894,then married Richard Webb 1904?.
She then married George Charles nov 1929 he would have been 64 years old and she was 55,so yes he was probably married before,so maybe you have come across something that would help find where they are buried. It never occurred to me before that they were that old when they married also the fact that he is my step grandfather and that Richard Webb was my real grandfather. If you need any other info please let me know.
Much Appreciated Della

Rightio. I'd hazard a guess that Sarah could possibly be buried in Bridgend in that case, possibly with her parents, or even with Richard somewhere? She's definately not in with George, and I can find no reference to her in Maesteg Cemetary.

I'm back down the records office on Thursday, so I'll see what I can find - any idea where Richartd was buried?

Mixed results again I'm afraid - no sign of Sarah in Newcastle either, but I think I've got some more detail on her family (if you don't already have the following:

Newcastle baptism of a John Hill on 13/06/1869 - parents noted as Richard and Martha
Newcastle burial of a John Heal on 19/01/1870 (age 9 months - age would be a little bit out - no details of parents)

But I also found the following two burials listed in Newcastle:
Richard Hill - 01/07/1875 (age 25)
Martha Heal - 26/07/1876 (age 28)

No baptism for Sarah listed. Haven't got time to get up Maesteg Cemetary sorry (and it is bucketing it down anyway!)

She's very elusive isn't she?? And it's still raining as usual.

I may be down the records office on Saturday - I'll have a quick look in the local papers for her death - may be lucky to find something and it may mention the burial. Locating her grave may unfortunately require asking Bridgend councl directly though as the Glamorgan burials CD is a bit rubbish and doesn't have half the burials in the booklets that GFHS have produced (and there are a lot of them to wade through!)
