john and mary bond

 hi iam reasearching my familly tree and have found some records of john and mary bond could anyone tell me where they might have been born or married here are the childrens baptisms i have found, baptism dec 2nd 1759 idbury oxon  thomas bond son of john and mary. next  baptism 18 sept 1763 idbury john bond son of john and mary. next  baptism 22 sept 1771 joseph bond son of john and mary. next baptism aug 15 1779 idbury . benjamin bond son of john and mary. also can anybody help me find a  john bond born 18 sept 1763. he married a lady called ann thier 1st child was called thomas bond baptized 31 jan 1796 at idbury.  i was giong to look on igi british  but it does not appear to be working at the moment. thanks tony bond

Just looked at Idbury PR's.

No marriage on there for your John Bond, the earliest baptism for a Bond is your Thomas, the earliest burial for a Bond is 1800.

So I reckon - as you probably suspect as well - that John Bond and his wife were married some where else and moved to Idbury on or about 1758/1759.

Just had a look in OFHS Marriage Index and no suitable candidates
Nor are there any in Milton under Wychwood, Ascott under Wychwood, Shipton under Wychwood all of which are not far from Idbury.

I reckon you need a look to the south = Burford and beyond or to the West into East Gloucestershire as starters for more elimination?
