Must be an unusual step for a county records office not to require a CARN ticket.
Actually not sure how it works, as you always had to show your reader's ticket on the way out to prove that you'd handed back any records you'd been looking at.
When you walk in, the microfiche and microfilm readers are where the maps used to be, you don't need a readers card for those. To access the rest of the office a card is needed
