Mayes family Ancestors in vicinity of Stoneyford

Hi can anyone  help - as I am unable to travel to PRONI currently .  I am looking for any information on the Mayes family Ancestors - possibly spelt MAZE in early 1800  .

Last known fact was John Mayes of Tumery in Stoneyford or of Islandkelly -  b 1842 and married to Isabella Graham.

I'm also looking for the details of his eldest son William's first marriage and possible children of this marriage - his wife was believed to be institutionalised and he then remarried. William was born 1862 and it is assumed that his first marriage was around 1883  . His second wife was Elizabeth and her maiden name is also unknown but born in Melbourne Australia.

Hi, Some details for the marriage of John Mays = Isabella Graham, they were married 1861, Lisburn Presbyterian Church (not sure which one!) John's fathers name was also John Mays, Isabella's father was Thomas Graham.


I can see only one possible marriage for  a William Mayse = Victoria Crieg Hudson 1884, Belfast 1/435 Civil reg.

It's possible that Wm Mayes b sept 1862 married very young -is there any record of a marriage between him and any girl  between the dates 1880 to 1994 ?

Are there records of entry into Ireland  around the same period ?
