I have an alternative identity/history for Catherine(Bridget?)Foulkes who married Thomas Hughes as per your webpage, but I still don't think she is the one you are after if she is the daughter of Thomas Foulkes (gent).
Some of the following I'm sure you know but I need to put it all down to review it as a coherent whole(and to ensure you have common data where appropriate)
Catherine Foulkes marries Thomas Hughes 1856 Wrexham civil marriage
(
www.northwalesbmd.org.uk - ref 1856 WM/005/01)
I believe that Catherine Foulkes is baptised in 1836 in the Wesleyan Chapel Llangollen with parents Thomas Foulkes(lab) from Street Isaf Ruabon and Elinor(maiden name not specified but I believe Jones- see later)
source-Blackwell Index(non conformist)-Clwyd Family History Society
For her to be from Llangolllen only 5 miles from Ruabon would make more sense than the Henllan area.
The 1841 census from large parts of this area are,I believe, missing, but the 1851 census (ref HO107 2503 276 14) shows Catherine's mother Elinor already dead(possibly 1848 childbirth of Elizabeth?) but I can speculate on her origins. This is a family involved in coalmining as Thomas Hughes. There is a nephew William Jones.
Thomas Hughes is of course at this time at ref HO107 2503 368 60 with family as per your webpage
I think there is a reasonable chance that Catherine's mother Elinor is Elinor Jones baptised 08/03/1815 in the same Wesleyan Chapel Llangollen
parents John Jones and Margaret-there are so many couples with these that speculating on siblings for Elinor is difficult but there is possibly a William in 1816(traditional family name as per the nephew?)
I have a feeling I've missed something out but I'll leave it there for now.
