I'm also interested in this family and may have some other information to help, I am descended from Daniel b 1856

Regarding the occupation of Robert Wright 1825, moving from weaver to stoker to fireman, this could be from the time when the local weavers moved to work in the big mills in Auchterarder, and some of them were responsible for the boilers for the steam to power the looms.

Lilias Maule's parents may have been William and Janet Anderson

I have found numerous variations of the name McKeich mostly McKeith so I now search on both.

re the two Robert's in 1861 the other Robert was living with his aunt Helen Donaldson, his parents were William and Jean Donaldson

the information on our Roberts death certificate lists his father as William and mother as Mary Ritchie (also found recorded as Richard).

I have also found a blog on ancestry at the following link (http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/thread.aspx?mv=flat&m=8&p=surnames.monteath), which states Lillias's parents were William Muil & Janet Anderson - However, on IGI is lists the parents of Lillias Maul as John Maul and Katharine Morrice.

So - really confused now 

As for Robert Wright, I did have a possible Link to parents as David Wright and Jean Donaldson, but I've lost where I obtained that link from - so it's very uncertain!!

I have an extract from Scotlands People - ref 1863 McKeith Lillias - Statutory deaths 329/00 0035, that shows her parents were William Maul and Janet Anderson, she died 30th April 1863, husband was William McKeic/th and her son William was present
