Lewis family of Pant Howel, Llanddausant

Sometime ago a correspondent commenting on someone else's enquiry relating to the Lewis family of Llanddausant (Llanthoysant/Llanddeusant) stated that there were records in the Carmarthen Record Office, my recent enquiries there have drawn a blank.
Would anyone have any idea or  knowledge of what, where and under what reference these papers might be located.
I've seen the reference somewhere in the ROOTSCHAT archives but cannot now find it.

Interesting, is your the "llan" the old or modern interpretaion. Do you have Llandovery connections? about the mid-1950's

I worked on this family a handful of years ago.  I don't have my notes handy now, but was not able to make all of the connections I was hoping for. 
There are several markers in the cemetery at Llanddeusant Parish church - I have some photos I'm willing to send you.  One of the descendants of LEWIS of Panthowel line married into my family (Jeffreys) living at Llwynyfron, Llanddeusant since the 1700s - and still living there today.
An old gentleman, David "Dai" Lewis, at Llangadog, helped me a bit as this was his line, also.  He gave me a couple of old Victorian photographs on one of my visits.

If my reading of the situation is correct you will be related to the Jeffreys of Llywel and indirectly connected to Martha Lewis who married Daniel Thomas whose family currently occupy Llwynfron.

Did you create the Jeffreys web pages?  If so an excellent read and a lot of hard work. Would I be correct in assuming that you are now resident in the USA?

My particular interest is to try to find out more about the early 18th Century connections of the Lewis@ of Pant Hywel and their connections through Owain Gethin of Glyntawe to the Princes of Breicheiniog, the Princes of Gwynedd.
Whilst I have received a "tree" from Heather Smith showing the connections, I was hoping that the rumoured papers in the Carmarthen Record Office might put some flesh on the bones.

Hello Roger, and yes I created the jeffreys family.blogspot.com site. Thanks for the comments. I spent a lot of time on Lewis of Pant Hywel and Tirpaum in trying to make the connections to Daniel Thomas and Martha (Lewis) Thomas.  Margaret and Dan Thomas who occupy Llywnyfron told me "their grandmother was a Jeffreys." but I've never figured this out or if it's true.  Their family rented Llwynyfron from my great grandfather before purchasing it about 1886. My great grandpa had lost his first wife, and was re-marrying a young girl half his age. She wanted a grand estate so he sold Llwynyfron to the Thomas family and purchased Cynghordy Hall near Llandovery. I was fascinated with Llwynyfron. It was so charming and appeared completely unchanged since the 18th century. American troops had encamped there during WWII. When they came back decades later, they said the house had not changed.

Unfortunately I know of no Jeffreys connection other than an indirect connection through the Nicholas family of Bailibedw whose daughter Ann married Richard Jeffreys of Llwynfron in 1840 (this family went to Ystradyfodwg and the iron foundries where Richard became a puddler ie a moulder of clay) Ann's brother David married one of my Lewis'.
As you will no doubt be aware early church records for Llanddausant were lost when the Church was burnt down.
