"William Chalmers married Elizabeth Williams and I know of their whereabouts thereafter just not sure where he is in 1851."

Where are you getting the surname "Williams" from ?

If anyone has acces to the Aberdeenshire MIs I would appreciate any info on James Chalmers (born 1752) married to Jane (Thomson) proably Methlick, if not perhaps New Deer.

Also Al. Chalmers (1723) married to Barbara Morrison probably Methlick.

And John Chalmers married to Janet Simpson parents of Al. Chalmers above so birth probably around 1700 again probably Methlick.

The above link will show you where you can access the M'I's. Are you also wanting to  find the marriage  details of these people? If so, then the familysearch website has the I.G.I.'s.
Hope this helps,

Thanks I've been doing what I can with the IGI. Members have been helpful previously with the monumental inscriptions just being a bit cheeky asking for help to see if there is any additional info out there.
