I have just read an article in the Daily Mail about a descendant of French King Henri, IV who wants to reunite his skull with his body.  Does anyone know if there is a listing of YDNA for the French and UK Royals anywhere?  Thank you, Lookin 2

I don't know the answer, but I read recently that QEII refuses to have her DNA done!

I suspect Royal DNA would cause a whole load of problems. :o

I am not surprised  HM QE11 does not want it done.

hereditary aristocracy or of noble birth would probally be kicked out the window. :-X

fascintating stuff.  Read an article in Your Family Tree magazine about the infamous outlaw Ned Kelly whose remains have now been found thanks to DNA testing.  He was hanged in 1880 but his body was lost in a mass grave.  A DNA test of the great grandson of his sister has enabled his skeleton to be identified from amongst 30 others.

Sounds odd to me  how have they got DNA from the King Henry, I would think it would be difficult to get it, the French etc wouldn't go handing out samples.
