Hello There.....

I think it likely, that the family on the 1861 census, that Karenlee gave you is the correct one.

I have found a baptism for HENRY WELCH.....

Born February 4th 1828, baptised on the 18th, at St Mary the Virgin, Radcliffe
Father Thomas WELCH, Mother ANN

There is a marriage at the same church, on November 3rd 1823, between a Thomas WELSH and a Ann LORD

Remembering ages were rounded down in 1841 this could be Ann and Thomas in 1841,

That is looking good.

Thomas and Ann did have a daughter called Phoebe, and I believe she is the mother of young William age 2.......Now if only we could find them in 1851, with young Samuel !!

I can find baptisms for all the children on the 1841 census, including William, with parents Thomas and Ann. No sign of Alice or Samuel though, I wonder if they were illegitimate children of one of the daughters
