I am trying to identify the birth date and parents of a William Bonello who married a Margaret Russell in Dysart on 24/10/1778. I suspect that he was the brother of a George Bonello as a Margaret Russell married a George Bonello on 07/10/1769. George Bonello died on 17/12/1777 and I suspect that Margaret re-married the brother William, though they may have just been cousins.
I cannot find any birth records for William or George. I have checked Scotland People, Ancestry and FamilySearch (IGI), but drawn a blank. I believe that William was a Brewer and was probably born in Dysart as he married there and had 4 children there with Margaret. I can find no death record for William, but Margaret outlived him by quite a few years and is shown as "relict" on her death in 1820. As she died aged 79, this would imply birth in 1741, so I assume that William would have been about the same age and born between 1740-1750.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
