DISNEY & EYRE
« on: Sunday 09 October 11 10:29 BST (UK) »
Just trying to work on Disneys which goes to Walt Disney and came across this...the line from Arundel Disney is well covered but it is his wife Maria's line I'm trying to get. Not sure if these are the same Disney's!

INSCRIPTIONS IN PARISH CHURCH OF CHARLTON KINGS, GLOUCESTERSHIRE.

Sacred to the memory of Mrs ANNE EYRE, wife of Colonel GILES EYRE, of EYRECOURT CASTLE, COUNTY GALWAY, Ireland, who departed this life February 20th. 1817, aged 38 years. This tomb is erected as a tribute to her memory by her youngest daughter, Eleanor Ann Disney.

Hi hallmark
An online family tree says that Eleanor Anne Eyre first married Colonel Arthur Disney of the East India Company (then married Colonel George Mahood).
Lots available if you goodle Col Arthur Disney.
