Help, please

Wonder if someone could assist with information

I am looking for information on the death certificates of

Arthur LLewelyn E Meredith,
born 8th Jan 1875 in England, died Vancouver 1st July 1944

and

I believe he had a daughter Wendy Desiree Alymer Meredith
born 1915 died 2006,
I think Wendy married to Cy Bromley (who died 2010) between 1940-1950

and any information on

Joan Odette Foulis Meredith b 1907, married William Archibald McKinnon

Any information I would be grateful

Thank you for that Valerie, I had explored FS in Canada and USA for traces and found the deaths of Arthur LLewllyn Meredith and William McKinnon but had not thought to look for a different surname for Joan Odette, looks as if she remarried after death of William.

I was hoping someone could get sight of the death certificates for details of Wendy or even point me in the direction so that I could purchase copies

I went to the obituary archives at the Vancouver sun and found the obituary for Cyril "Cy" Bromley

He died Dec 4, 2010 and it appears that Wendy died 2006 or before

His son is and grandchildren are listed in the obituary. I have saved the site in case you can't access it.

or do an internet search for Vancouver obituary archives and the site should come up. You will probably be able to find the obit for Wendy but you will need to scroll through all the pages.

Vancouver Sun Obituary Archives and the site should come up.

Wendy A.D.M. Bromley (Meredith) obituary is in the Times Colonist September 21, 2006

b. July 17, 1915, d. Sept. 15, 2006

It is a pay site so I would go to the Vancouver Public Library to see if they can access the obituary for you.

Oh Valerie, so many thanks.

Have found a bit of this Obit but not in entirety.  Am in UK which is why have tried to enlist help of Rootschatters.  I hesitate to contact living relatives.  Am trying to find names of Wendy Bromley nee Meredith's parents

the parents of Joan Odette Meredith are
Arthur Llewellyn Edward Meredith and Sarah Muriel Jessie Aylmer Lewis

On Arthur's death registration, he is listed as widow but I haven't been able to find a death registration for Sarah Muriel Jessie aylmer Lewis.

On Joan's death registration, it states she was born in Toronto Ontario. I looked at the records that are available for Ontario and couldn't find a birth registration for Wendy as it only goes to 1912 or a marriage for Arthur and Sarah. Do you think they married in Canada or England.

I also checked the 1901 and 1911 census for both Ontario and BC and then the rest of Canada and couldn't find them on the census.

On Arthur's death registration, his parents are listed as John Meredith and Mary Maltby.

With Wendy having Aylmer as one of her middle names, I would assume that her and Joan have the same mother.
