I did'nt realise St Lukes on the Coombe was classed as 'without the walls'
(of the city).I always thought they were referring to the C.oI on Nicholas street
and the R..c on Francis street,that maybe explains why many official sites also confuse the two which is why I was uncertain which was correct, thanks Shane.
... And theres more as they say ,Re; St Paul's R.C. Arran quay,I don't see any evidence that IFHF Rootsireland have these records,could it being confused with St Paul's CoI
in Glenageary?As they don't appear to have any of the inner city parishes,see their map.

just to add to the confusion there was also a St. Paul's CofI in the city.. on North King Street.

Records for St. Paul's, Arran Quay are included on the RootsIreland / IFHF, so it seems they will probably not be included in the Oct 4th update on IrishGenealogy

Some of the names of the city and county county parishes overlap - e.g. the two St. Mary's.

Now theres one I had'nt heard of,while I'm familiar with where
the majority of the city churches are and can picture the streets
they are on(comes from being sent walking all over the city
delivering heavy parcels when I was 11 and 12 years old)I find the way they are presented on some sites adds to confusion about the records.Hopefully my
confusion and the correcting replies will help rootschatters less familiar with the city
to find the correct church for their research.In that cause theres one more instance of R.C and Church of Ireland parishes which I know have confused people in the past and these are St Andrews R.C.(Westland Row) and St Andrews CoI(Suffolk street)

A number of the RC Parishes are named after the same saint as the civil/CofI parish - so there's a few overlapping names
