I'm just getting an error message when I click on 'read more'.  Must be taking far longer than anticipated if they keep pushing the date back like this. Such a shame.

Clare Santry's site also relays news of Waterford and Wexford records from rootsireland.ie.    See second item

Must be something 'flakey' going on with the update .............

Further update on addition of Church records of Baptism, Marriage and Burial to www.irishgenealogy.ie - 18th July 2011...Read more...

when I click read more the same old September message, of 18th July 2011, comes up.......

It is only by using the link kindly posted by CGR1970 that you get yesterdays update. The problem seems to be that the URL has somehow dropped the figure 2 from http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/news2.html

Hopefully they'll get it sorted.

Oops - Looks like the problem was 'housekeeping' on my PC because after deleting browsing history the update appeared! I have now checked the 'Delete browsing history on exit' box under the General Tab of Internet Options. Hope this might help anyone else who has had this problem.

Thanks to CGR1970  for posting the link to news of the new message
about the update to Irishgenealogy.ie,(seems my old bookmark was
my problem because it was going to a different page on the site).

On another subject about the site, they seem to be having problems with the
feed back facility and have said replies to this are blocked at the moment.I used
'feedback' recently to point out what I see as an error on the site with records for St Nicholas Church Dublin. At the moment there are records for St Nicks' which are listed as Church of Ireland but which vary between being labelled as 'Within the walls' and
'Without the walls'.But 'Without the walls' means(maybe only to me) the St Nicholas of Myra, R.C.  Church on Francis street which is not on the site at present so if the records for that are added there could be confusion and suggested using the street names to identify the churches instead.

There were two St. Nicholas church of Ireland parishes - Within on Nicholas Street, and Without (with St. Luke) in the Coombe

I agree they should add the street name of the parish church to clarify - especially with prospect of three St. Mary's (1x CofI, 2 x RC).
