I'd say just keep an eye on the website for any news ... it doesn't have a definite date but rather 'a completion date of June 2011 is now likely....'

I'm sure people will post details when the site is updated.

A good place for IrishGenealogy news like this is John Grenham's weekly column in the Irish Times which is available online - see : Irish Roots

I check nearly every day and I'm sure other people do the same. Whoever spots the next update first will hopefully post about it on here.

There is a posting on the GSI's Facebook page  http://www.rootschat.com/links/0dxb/
that will be of interest to many of us.

Jimmy Deenihan gives an indication that it will be July when the records will be available as well as other interesting tid bits!  :-*

Thanks for this information. Good to read about more images being made available. Surprised to read this comment from someone in authority about records...

"...lost in the fire at the Four Courts in 1916" (sic)

Surely wrong?

Hi and thanks for posting.

I have just had a quick look at the 'progress' part at http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/about/aboutprogress.html but the old notice is still there.
Wonder what's happening?
