Irish Genealogy Update

Not sure if someone posted this yet. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer for the long awaited additions to this wonderful sight! :-[

From irishgenealogy.ie
"Roman Catholic records of Baptism, Marriage and Burial for Dublin City, County Cork (Diocese of Cork and Ross) and County Monaghan (Diocese of Clogher) including images of the records will be added to the Church records already available on this website in September.  Further information will be posted closer to the actual launch date, apologies for the delay in the addition of these records to the website.

Posted 18th July 2011"

Thanks Deb. Been waiting for these records for ages. What a shame they've put the release date back. So disappointed. Ah well, back to strumming my fingers... ::)

Thanks for the update. Waiting, not so patiently, for the additions to the Cork records. So disappointing that they keep pushing the date back.

Both irishgenealogy.ie and 1901/1911 census sites down today,
wonder if someone is tinkering with them to add more to the sites
or maybe just maintanence.

I spotted that earlier... they both seem to be hosted on the same set of servers. Hopefully an update of some kind.

Could be a hardware or software updates in preparation for the addition of new records.  Fingers crossed..

Would anybody know which Dublin City church records are to be added, I'm hoping that Rathmines will be on the list.
Kind regards,
Doyley.

Dont know the specific parishes they are working but the website has stated 'Dublin City' parishes.

Depending on the date Rathmines might have been considered Co. Dublin... as it was outside the City boundary.
