Patrick Walsh and Ellen Redmond
« on: Monday 03 October 11 01:27 BST (UK) »
Patrick and Ellen married in Enniscorthy in the fourth quarter of 1889 (Enniscorthy vol 4 p249). The 1901 and 1911 censuses give a range of dates for their births - Patrick in 1901 was 32, but in 1911 was 44. Likewise Ellen was 29 in 1901 and 40 in 1911.  Can anyone please throw any light on who might have been their parents?  Ellen is believed, according to family history, to have come from an English family, but at present the story stops with these two people!

Photo of their gravestone attached. This states Patrick to have been 73 when he died in February 1941, and Ellen to have been 79 when she died in December 1950. This gives more accurate dating, but even so there are still a range of possibilities.

Many thanks.
Laming: Margate and Kent, also Holland

Have you considered ordering the marriage cert. This would give their address and the name and occupation of both fathers.
