Trevor - thanks for your time and effort. I was just hoping someone might have been able to suggest how and where his death might have been recorded and thus enable me to find out more about the circumstances of his death - accident or disease?
Becky - I know about the details of his contract because a copy of the agreement is held in the family. Thanks for pointing me towards the book. I will have to search it out.
