Osmaston Road General baptist chapel - Hodson
« on: Sunday 02 October 11 20:01 BST (UK) »
Hi, I have found a wedding detail for the above chapel for Martha Darby and Jonathan Hodson in 1875, on find my past.com. I was hoping that someone could look up the entry and tell me who the bride and groom's fathers were and the actual date of the marriage. Any details for Jonathan would be appreciated, he is proving very difficult to track down on any record before he married Martha.
Thank you in advance
Tina

Hi

Can you always include the quarter in which the marriage took place to help narrow down the search for anybody trawling through the parish records

free bmd shows it was in the December quarter   www.freebmd.org.uk
Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk
Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

Hi yes sorry about that, I should have put it on. The bmd index does show it to be in the 4th quarter of 1875 so anytime between October, November and December. I believe Martha's father to be Edward or Adar Darby, a brick layer, who may or may not have died by then, as I have him on the 1871 census but nothing after.
Thank you again
Tina
