William CHESTER married Lydia HAMPTON 17 Oct 1790, Kings Bromley, Staffordshire.  Was Lydia a spinster or a widow at time of marriage?

I've been to Lichfield Archives today:

All Saints, King's Bromley - 17 October 1790 - William Chester of the parish of Weeford and Lydia Hampton of this parish were married by Licence.
Witnesses:  Hannah Rowley and John Wright.

William made his mark, and Lydia signed.

There is no status for either party.

As this marriage was by Licence I looked for a Marriage Licence, but I'm afraid to say that it doesn't seem to have survived.

Thank you so much!  My question about Lydia remains unresolved but, I have learnt something about William Chester.
