Quarnford MI's lookups please
« on: Saturday 24 September 11 17:42 BST (UK) »
Hi,
could anyone who has a copy of the MI's from Quarnford please lhelp with details of my Steel family--
James Steel and his wife mary(nee Oliver) were buried at Flash in the early 1840's but the family had been in the area for a long time before then--so presumably there will be more Steel family burials
    any help gratefully recieved,

I've been to Lichfield Archives today, and found that Quarnford MIs have been transcribed by the Bass family but I couldn't see who had published them, no FHS named at all.

Herewith a summary of the Steel inscriptions, and I'll send the full details by PM:

Thomas Steel - 30 March 1840 aged 79.  Elizabeth - 3 December 1849 aged 79.

James Steel 22 February 1840 aged 64.  Mary - 16 February 1843 aged 67.

Ann Steel - 4 April 1873 aged 3 months.  Mary Day - 25 March 1931 aed 60.

Abraham Steel 25 June 1873 agted 78.  Mabala Steel - 19 December 1890 in her 88th year.

Elizabeth Steel 22 April 1877 aged 48.  Isaac Steel - 24 August 1908 aged 80.
