Hi, can anybody help with a birth record for Phillip Winn. According to the 1851 census of Surrey he was born in Cork . His death certificate in 1858 gives his age as 86 so his birth would have been about 1772. He married Deborah Winter at Hambledon Surrey May 21ST. 1822. Any help please regards John

Phillip's birth is well before the start of civil records in Ireland, so you would need to search to see if a baptism record exists for him. To do this you need to know the family denomination and where in Co. Cork they lived - i.e. which parish.
