William & David McEwan/ Sheltering Homes
« on: Friday 23 September 11 23:47 BST (UK) »
Has anyone any info about either of my two great uncles, William (1904) & David (1908) McEwan.

Their father was Alexander Stobo McEwan, their mother Mary Ellen. Their mother died in 1913. Their father re-married a Mary Wagner. They had two children, James & Martha.

In 1925, David was admitted to the Liverpool Sheltering Home on Myrtle St. Later that year he was emigrated to Canada.

I was told that William was also sent to Canada, but so far have no evidence of that. So. I assume he stayed in Liverpool.

Can anyone shed any light please.....thank you  :)
