I see the 1901 census shows David was Church of Ireland but Maria was Catholic - maybe they took a while to decide which church to baptise them into?

Hi DudleyWinchurch and Purpeller, I don't actually have a birth cert for Isabella. The information I have re her birth is extracted from the civil registration index. Having seen the time recorded on other multiple births in the family I think I'll send away for it just to be sure.

Hi aghadowey and Richardk,
I haven't seen the actual registers. I bought the baptism records on rootsireland.ie. Each record states 'Triplet - Father Protestant'.
Abner Atkinson 1869 is Isabellas cousin born to Abner Atkinson and Ellen Fluskey. Abner Snr. was re baptised as a catholic in 1864 having been baptised in COI in 1834.
Eliza Atkinson 1865 is the first of David and Maria Atkinsons children. She was their first and only child to be baptised COI as all other children were baptised RC. There is a Death registered for Elizabeth Atkinson 1866 age 0. I suspect that this is baby Eliza born in 1865.
